It's actually easier for a group of cool men to convince women to see them again, or even leave with them. When women go out to have fun, they call their best friends to join them. You and your wingman will have an easier time getting women to trust you and leave as a group.

Let's face it, in the dating world, it's really every man for himself. If you are talking to your dream woman and another guy comes up and competes, what do you do? Sure you can out alpha him but it's so much easier to let your wingman distract him while you talk to your girl.
