Did you hear us on Vancouver's The Beat 94.5? Ronald Lee, Man Meets Woman coached Benjamin the Butler, one of the on-air personalities of the Kid Carson show, Vancouver's #1 morning show for several weeks.
Did he make Ben a Cassonova? What happened in the end?
(Ronald) I first met Kid, Nira and Amy in 2005, right when a famous black book was published and before most people knew that there was even such a thing as Attraction (dating) coaching in Vancouver. They made me feel welcome and I've been listening to their show ever since, entertained by their antics and being really impressed by the real discussions that happen on air. Of course, when I heard from Kid again last year to come back on and give Ben some help, how could I refuse.
The Kid Carson show is going as strong as ever and both Amy and Nira bring some unique insight to the discussions. Ben has been an interesting topic on the show, but as a person, I'd be happy to let him date my sister.
Here are mp3's of the all the guys on the show (Kid, Nira, Amy, and Ben) talking about Ben's "problem":
September 9th - Ben has a problem. He needs dating help (2.8MB, 6 minutes).
September 10th - They tell Ben that they found him a coach (8.5MB, 18 minutes).
September 11th - They read an email Ronald wrote regarding Ben (9.2MB, 19:46 minutes).
September 13th - Ronald Lee is on The Beat! (23MB, 10.8 minutes).
The Kid Carson show has really helped bring back dating to Vancouver, with the topic of men and women a show constant and with all the related special guests.
So what did happen with Ben? I didn't take him as far as I planned actually as we didn't actually get to do the real part of the coaching.
I took him speed dating with two of Vancouver's Premiere speed dating companies, Rendezvous Club and 25 Dates and there, he met and started dating a wonderful girl for a few months from the speed dating session and we never got a chance to really change him.

Today they are now just good friends. It would really help if Ben stopped letting everyone nag him and he developed the confidence to really be a man and go after what he wants (which is hard when you are being constantly nagged). We'll see what happens for him in the future ~ Ronald Lee.
